August 22, 2026 in East Chester
Ten years ago, I had an “event”on the soccer field—and thanks to some incredible friends, quick-thinking soccer players, and lifesaving CPR, I’m still here to talk about it! Come celebrate with us. Like any good fishing story, the details of that day get bigger every year, so come hear the latest version in person.
📅 The Details
- When: Saturday, August 22. Drop in anytime during the afternoon or evening.
- Rain Date: Sunday, August 23.
- Where: 3131, Hwy 3, East Chester, NS, B0J 1J0.
- Parking: I will post a map showing the places to park. If it is busy, and you are just dropping in for a quick visit, it may be better to park just outside the property so you don’t get blocked in.
- Who: Friends, soccer teammates, plus your husbands, wives, kids, and plus-ones. The more, the merrier.
☀️ The Game Plan
- Water Fun: We are right on the water. Bring your gear to go swimming, lounge on the dock, or hang out on the boat.
- Lawn Games: We will have corn hole, washer toss, and probably a soccer ball or basketball kicking around.
- Nighttime: If you are a designated driver or have a place to stay, plan to stay late! Bring a guitar if you have one so we can sing around the campfire.
🛏️ Where to Stay
- On the Property: We have plenty of room if you want to pitch a tent.
- Campgrounds: Graves Island Provincial Park is within walking distance. You can book a spot directly online through the Nova Scotia Booking Site. You can set up the site to send you a message if there are any cancellations that weekend.
- Local Rentals: There are several rooms and Airbnbs available in nearby Chester. A cab ride from our place back into town is only about $15.
